Max Strus makes comeback with Cavaliers after 67-game absence

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Max Strus finally made his comeback and debut in the 2025-2026 NBA season when his team hosted the Dallas Mavericks at Rocket Arena.

Strus took the floor with 4:53 remaining in the first quarter of the game to mark his comeback after missing 67 games with a left foot injury, according to the NBA's official website.

The 1.96 meter tall basketball player previously suffered from a Jones fracture, which is a break or crack in the bone that connects the little toe to the bottom of the foot.

Strus suffered the injury during training during the competition break and required surgery on August 26, 2025.

Strus made an immediate impact by hitting two three-pointers from the left side of the court, just 75 seconds after entering the game.
