Microsoft Gaming Division CEO Asha Sharma has confirmed the codename for Xbox's next-generation console, "Project Helix," which is said to offer improved performance and be capable of running both console and PC games.
As reported by IGN on Friday, in a post on X's social media, Asha stated that the console is part of a commitment to the future of Xbox. She also stated that Project Helix is designed to deliver superior performance compared to previous generations.
"It was a great start to the morning with the Xbox Team, where we discussed our commitment to the future of Xbox, including Project Helix, the name for the next-generation console. Project Helix will lead the way in performance and allow users to play both Xbox and PC games," Asha wrote.
