Indonesian Minister of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Maman Abdurrahman stated that the government is providing a number of recovery programs for businesses affected by disasters in three Sumatran provinces.
"One of these programs is the relaxation of People's Business Credit for communities affected by disasters in the Sumatra region," said Maman after a coordination meeting on the distribution of post-disaster KUR in Sumatra at the North Sumatra Governor's Office.
He said that nationally, there were around 193 thousand business actors or debtors affected by the disaster in three provinces that had been recorded.
Maman continued, covering West Sumatra, North Sumatra, and Aceh. Of the approximately 193,000 debtors, approximately 44,000 are in North Sumatra.
