Olympic medalist Conlan hosts Walsh to retain WBC belt
  London 2012 Olympic boxing bronze medalist Michael Conlan is set to face Kevin Walsh to defend his World Boxing Council (WBC) International featherweight (57.2 kg) belt on March 20 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

"Conal will enter this upcoming fight with the goal of re-establishing himself among the world title contenders in the division," the WBC reported on its official website, as monitored 
Conlan, who currently boasts a professional record of 18 wins, nine by knockout (KO) and three by defeat, is one of Ireland's most popular boxers. In addition to winning an Olympic bantamweight bronze medal, the Northern Irishman also had a stellar amateur career before turning professional.
