BRI Super League 2025/2026 club Persija has contributed the most players to the Indonesian national team's provisional squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Of the 41 names announced by coach John Herdman, Persija included six of its players, namely Jordi Amat, Fajar Fathurrahman, Witan Sulaeman, Mauro Zijlstra, Dony Tri Pamungkas, and of course the captain Rizky Ridho.
Shayne Pattynama could have joined Persija's roster, but he will miss the FIFA Series due to serving a four-match international ban for his protests to the referee during the fourth-round 2026 World Cup qualifier against Iraq in October last year.
Behind Persija, Dewa United Banten FC contributed the most players. Jan Olde Riekerink's team contributed four players.
The four players from Dewa are Ricky Kambuaya, Stefano Lilipaly, Egy Maulana Vikri, and Ivar Jenner.
Rafael Struick, who usually earns a national team call-up, is missing from Dewa. The player has made eleven Super League appearances this season, but has yet to score. His only goal for Dewa came in the AFC Challenge League.
