Indonesian U-20 National Team debutant Rafa Raditya Abdurahman said he was grateful for the opportunity to undergo a training camp (TC) with the Garuda Muda squad in Surabaya.
"Thank God, I've been trusted by Coach Nova. Rafa himself only gives me the best in the league, and a call-up to the national team would be a bonus. If I'm called up, I'll definitely give my best," Rafa said when met by reporters after team training at Gelora 10 November Stadium.
He said that during the approximately two weeks of training, the players were introduced to the playing philosophy implemented by the national team, including the similarities in concept between the senior team and the age groups.
In addition, he continued, players also received training materials covering aspects of tactics, physical strength, and mental readiness during the training camp.
"In the first two weeks, we were introduced to the senior team's philosophy, so it's the same from the senior team to the U-20 team. Coach Nova taught us how to defend and attack, and there was also physical training in the gym," said the footballer, who currently plays for Persija.
