Eyewitnesses reported that warplanes targeted several police stations in the area, while medical sources stated that the martyrs included 3 police officers, in addition to a number of others who sustained varying injuries.
The bombing comes as part of ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.
Earlier, three Palestinians, including two brothers, were killed and four others were injured as a result of shelling and gunfire in various areas of the Gaza Strip.
Since the agreement came into effect, the Israeli occupation army has committed hundreds of violations through bombing and shooting, resulting in the martyrdom of 691 Palestinians and the injury of 1,876 others since October 11.
With American support, Israel launched a war on the Gaza Strip on October 8, 2023, which lasted two years and continued later in different forms, resulting in more than 72,000 martyrs and about 172,000 wounded, in addition to widespread destruction affecting about 90% of the infrastructure.
