The Omani Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that it condemns the attacks that took place on the Sultanate's territory, adding that no party has claimed responsibility for them.
The ministry explained that "the relevant authorities are investigating the true source and motives behind the attacks," without providing further details.
In a statement, it said: “The Sultanate of Oman condemns and denounces the ongoing war and all acts of violence and military targeting of all countries in the region.”
The Sultanate said on Saturday that a worker was injured in an attack by two drones on the port of Salalah, and the Danish container shipping group Maersk later said it had temporarily suspended its operations at the port after the attack.
Iranian media quoted the Revolutionary Guard as saying on Saturday that it had targeted a US support ship at a “far” distance from the port of Salalah.
He added: “As we mentioned previously, the Islamic Republic of Iran respects the national sovereignty of the sisterly and friendly state of Oman.”
Drones had attacked oil storage facilities in the port of Salalah on March 11. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian informed the Sultan of Oman in a phone call that the incident would be investigated.
