Two digital platforms, TikTok and Roblox, are considered cooperative, partly because they have demonstrated good faith in following the provisions in preparation for Government Regulation No. 17 of 2025 concerning the Protection of Electronic System Governance in Child Protection which will come into effect
Minister of Communication and Digital Meutya Hafid said the two platforms are still requesting an extension to ensure their services are in line with PP Tunas.
"There's quite good news from two other platforms, Roblox and TikTok, that have shown partial cooperation. We continue to ask both of them to immediately complete their compliance (with the Tunas PP) so that it can be implemented comprehensively," said Meutya at the Ministry of Communication and Information's office.
