Fulham were knocked out by Championship side Southampton after losing 0-1 at Craven Cottage Stadium, London.
Fulham lost after Southampton substitute Ross Stewart scored in the 90+1 minute.
Sunderland were also eliminated after being defeated by Port Vale from the third division League One with a score of 0-1 at the Stadium at Burslem Stadium, Stoke-on-Trent.
Port Vale striker Ben Waine was the hero again after scoring the winning goal, which he also scored in the fourth round victory over Bristol City.
