Veda Pratama is confident about racing in the United States

Young Indonesian racer Veda Ega Pratama said he was confident heading into the third Moto3 race of the season, which will be held at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), United States.

Veda made this statement after finishing all sessions before the main race early Sunday morning WIB, starting fourth. Veda recorded a time of 2 minutes 12.813 seconds in Qualifying 2, marking his third consecutive second-row start in his debut season.

"The results were quite positive. I was able to maintain second place throughout the three races. I have enough confidence today and for tomorrow's race," Veda said in an interview with SPOTV Indonesia on Sunday.

Veda's time was 0.706 seconds behind pole-sitter Alvaro Carpe, who is also his competitor in the 2024 Red Bull Rookies Cup.

Despite ending the qualifying session quite well, Veda said he would still discuss with his team any shortcomings he felt during the session.
