Young Indonesian racer Veda Ega Pratama learned a lot in his Moto3 debut when he finished fifth (P5) in the opening series at the Chang International Circuit, Buriram.
Veda started his Moto3 race by qualifying straight into Qualifying 2 (Q2), before starting fifth. He was in contention for third place in the race, but ultimately finished fifth.
"Thank you so much to everyone who supported me in this Thailand race. This is certainly a great result for me, as I finished in the top five in my first Moto3 World Championship race," Veda said in an interview with MotoGP.
