The 2026 ASN Run is a sporting event aimed at popularizing running among state civil servants (ASN) and the general public.
This second edition of the event also aims to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia by presenting two competition categories: offline and virtual running, open to both civil servants and the general public.
"The target number of participants is 2,000. We're adjusting the number of participants to the venue. The offline event is 2,000. The virtual event is 20,000 participants from across Indonesia," said Shendy Maria Ariel, Chair of the ASN Run 2026 Committee, at a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday.
In the offline category, the competition is scheduled to take place on September 6 at the Kemendikbud Building, Senayan.
In this category, the committee provides two race numbers, namely 5K and 10K, with the registration period open from April 1 to May 24.
Registration fees for the 5K category are set at Rp199,000 for civil servants and Rp249,000 for non-civil servants. Meanwhile, the 10K category is set at Rp299,000 for civil servants and Rp349,000 for non-civil servants.
"The route will definitely be new, including a 5K course. We'll also involve community members who will be performers, pacers, and so on," he continued.
