Dewa United defeated the host Satya Wacana Salatiga with a score of 86-75, in the 14th week of the IBL match played at the Prof. Susilo Wibowo basketball sports hall, Semarang.
With this victory, Dewa United recovered from a poor run of five consecutive defeats. Dewa United now sits in seventh place in the IBL standings with 18 points. Meanwhile, Satya Wacana remains at the bottom of the table with 15 points.
Joshua Ibarra starred in the match with 25 points and 13 rebounds, while Daniel Cooper notched a triple-double with 12 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds. Serhii Pavlov led the way for Satya Wacana with 24 points.
The first quarter was a tight affair, ending with a 28-27 scoreline for Satya Wacana. Kevin Kangu opened the scoring with a jump shot, but Dewa United quickly leveled the score at 2-2 through Ibarra.
