“The participants gathered around a common conscience with the wives of leaders, ministers and international representatives from various countries,” said Emine Erdogan in a post on the Turkish platform “In Social.”
She expressed her gratitude to those present for their support of Palestine, adding: "We hope that this solidarity will lead to lasting and tangible results."
The symposium brought together political figures and representatives of international organizations, in solidarity with the Palestinians, along with the presence of Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas, and Turkish Minister of Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change Murat Kurum.
Among the international attendees were the Palestinian Ambassador to Ankara, Nasri Abu Jaish, and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General on Violence against Children, Najat M'jid.
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum will be held between April 17 and 19, under the theme: "Dealing with Uncertainties When Shaping the Future".
