Foster faces Ford for a WBC title defense on May 30

World Boxing Council (WBC) super featherweight (58.9 kg) world champion O'Shaquie Foster will face Raymond Ford to defend his title on May 30.

According to a report by The Ring on its official website, which was monitored in Jakarta on Tuesday, the fight is expected to take place in Houston, Texas, United States, Foster's hometown.

The fight will be a meeting of two top fighters in the 130-pound division. Foster is the WBC world champion, while Ford is a former World Boxing Association (WBA) featherweight (120-pound) champion.

The two boxers' heated rivalry has been evident, with both boxers exchanging insults on social media and engaging in another heated exchange of words in person while attending Emanuel Navarrete's fight against Eduardo "Sugar" Nunez in Arizona in February 2026.

In his most recent fight in December 2025, Foster put on an impressive performance with a unanimous decision victory over Stephen Fulton to retain his title and improve his record to 24 wins (12 KOs) and three losses.
