There are at least four new Apple Intelligence features that are likely to be introduced in the iOS 27 operating system based on backend code discovered by developer Nicolas Alvarez and confirmed by MacRumors .
According to a MacRumors report on Thursday (16/4), Apple will likely rely more on Visual Intelligence in iOS 27.
Visual Intelligence appears to be gaining at least two new capabilities, one of which will allow users to scan food nutrition labels. This feature will likely be integrated into the "Health" app.
Another capability enhancement will offer the addition of a printed phone number/address to the user's "Contacts".
Another new feature relates to Apple's Wallet app. This feature will likely gain the ability to generate digital cards from scanning items like event tickets and gym membership cards.
However, this isn't new. Google Wallet for Android already does something similar, using artificial intelligence to determine the contents of access cards.
