Russian Deputy Security Council Chairman Dmitry Medvedev revealed that he uses artificial intelligence software in his daily work, but he does not trust it blindly.
During his participation in the "Knowledge First" marathon, Medvedev said on the subject: "I use artificial intelligence software periodically during my daily work, but I do not blindly trust its outputs," stressing that the problem of verifying the information generated by this software represents the biggest challenge facing this technology today.
Medvedev noted that the habit of using artificial intelligence technologies had gradually seeped into his life without him realizing it, driven by their ease and speed. However, he raised a fundamental question: Can we rely on what AI produces without scrutiny? He pointed out that thoroughly verifying even a single answer requires the efforts of a team of specialists, which is not the case in practice.
He concluded with a position that combined openness and caution, saying: "I am in favor of artificial intelligence, but it must be dealt with cautiously."
