Tangerang Hawks Basketball player Justin Jaya won the 1 On 1 Challenge Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) All-Star 2026, which was held at the Bandung Arena, Bandung, Saturday night.
The young guard managed to defeat his teammate, Isaiah Saudale, with a score of 15-14 in the final round of the event.
Previously in the preliminary round, he also managed to beat Daffa Dhoifulloh who strengthened Pacific Caesar Surabaya, with a score of 11-8.
Meanwhile, Yesaya defeated the young player from Satria Muda Pertamina Bandung, Raden Raisha, with a score of 15-9.
In the final, Justin immediately blew away his senior defense with a beautiful jump shot and layup . He also scored multiple three-pointers.
However, as a senior player, Yesaya didn't give up. Despite trailing 5-11, he managed to equalize and narrow the deficit.
With 50 seconds remaining, he even tied the score at 14-14. However, a foul under the basket allowed Justin to take a free throw.
He didn't waste the opportunity to add to his lead. He calmly executed the free throw , ending Isaya's fight at 15-14, just before regulation time expired. A game ends when a player first scores 15 points, even with time remaining.
Through the results of the match, Justin Jaya was entitled to hold the first title in the 1 On 1 Challenge which was held for the first time by the IBL in a series of All-Star activities to entertain basketball fans in the country.
The 2026 IBL All-Star returned to Bandung after a 12-year absence. The main event was Team Yudha versus Team Prastawa.
