A medical source reported that the bodies of 5 martyrs arrived at Al-Shifa Medical Complex, in addition to 11 injuries, as a result of a bombing that targeted Al-Shati camp west of Gaza City, after an initial toll indicated the martyrdom of 3 Palestinians before it rose.
Eyewitnesses explained that a drone targeted a group of citizens near the Al-Danf intersection in the camp, in front of a barracks (a tin building) and next to electricity generators, which led to the martyrdom of some and the injury of a number of workers and passersby.
In a previous incident, four Palestinians, including a child, were killed and others were injured when a police vehicle east of Gaza City was targeted by a missile fired from an Israeli drone as it passed through Tunnel Street, resulting in the vehicle catching fire and casualties among those inside and passersby.
The boy, Adam Halawa (14 years old), was also killed by Israeli bullets to the head in the Jabalia al-Balad area in the northern Gaza Strip, where the army opened fire on a camp sheltering displaced people outside its area of deployment, according to eyewitnesses.
Several areas witnessed artillery shelling and helicopter gunship fire, especially in the Al-Tuffah and Al-Shuja’iya neighborhoods in eastern Gaza, in addition to the demolition of buildings, while artillery targeted areas southeast of Khan Yunis, and warships fired off the coasts of Khan Yunis and Rafah.
According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, Israel committed approximately 2,400 violations of the ceasefire agreement, including killings, arrests, and blockades. The Ministry of Health reported that these violations resulted in the deaths of 760 Palestinians and injuries to 2,111 others.
This comes in the context of an ongoing war on the sector since October 8, 2023, which has left more than 72,000 martyrs and more than 172,000 wounded, in addition to widespread destruction affecting 90% of the infrastructure.
