Red Bull KTM rider Pedro Acosta was the fastest in the official MotoGP test session held at the Catalunya Circuit.
This is the second official test session undertaken by all MotoGP teams to try to make developments this season.
In the test session which was divided into two sessions, a number of riders decided to be absent, including Fabio Di Giannantonio, Alex Marquez, Johann Zarco, and Marc Marquez.
The first test session went quite smoothly with Pedro Acosta able to finish the fastest after recording a time of 1 minute 38.767 seconds.
Yamaha's Fabio Quartararo followed with a time of 1 minute 38.831 seconds, followed by Red Bull KTM's Enea Bastianini with a time of 1 minute 38.884 seconds.
The test took a toll after Aprilia Racing rider Jorge Martin crashed. Martin was then rushed to the hospital for further examination.
In the second test session, due to unfavorable weather factors when the city of Barcelona was hit by heavy rain, it was decided to cancel this session.
