Anthony Ginting returns after three absences at the Malaysia Masters




 Indonesian men's singles player Anthony Sinisuka Ginting is confirmed to return to the BWF World Tour Super 500 Malaysia Masters 2026 after a three-year absence from the event.

According to the official BWF website, Tuesday, Ginting was promoted directly to the main draw following the withdrawal of the top two seeds, Shi Yu Qi and Anders Antonsen, from the tournament taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia..

The return of the former world number two badminton player provides further momentum in his comeback process after being sidelined due to injury. Ginting's last appearance at the Malaysia Masters was in 2023, when he was eliminated in the round of 16 by China's Weng Hong Yang, 19-21, 15-21.
