Astronomer Sergei Nazarov, a researcher at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory, points out that the impact of magnetic storms caused by solar flares on humans is exaggerated.

He says: “No direct link has been found between the magnetic storms that hit the Earth after solar flares. Humans are not sensitive to the magnetic field, and do not feel changes in it directly. That is, the effect of solar flares on humans is greatly exaggerated, and it is likely that it occurs indirectly, through other mechanisms, and is also related to the psychological and physiological state.”

Nazarov believes that the effect of magnetic storms on humans is, in most cases, a result of self-suggestion.

It is reported that Dr. Savinch Aliyeva, an internist, previously stated that magnetic storms can cause health problems, such as insomnia, headaches, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, and joint pain.

According to her, humans react differently to magnetic storms, with some experiencing drowsiness, others psychological and emotional disturbances, and some even experiencing panic attacks.

The doctor recommends drinking more pure water and maintaining a regular sleep and rest schedule when experiencing these disturbances. Additionally, she advises against consuming excessive amounts of salty foods, as these can disrupt the nervous system.
