Ben-Gvir's video about the "Steadfastness Flotilla" sparked a global wave of anger against Israel

Israel 24 quoted Scooper, an Israeli company specializing in analyzing digital narratives, as saying that the data showed "unprecedented global anger" towards Israel, with nearly half a million signals expressing clear negative feelings towards Ben-Gvir after the video was published.

According to the analysis, social media platforms witnessed a "huge increase of hundreds of percentage points" in negative discourse in foreign languages, especially English and Spanish, while the largest escalation in discussions was recorded within Indonesia.

The report noted that global engagement began to rise significantly on Wednesday afternoon following the release of the video, and peaked on Thursday morning, with tens of thousands of posts and comments related to Ben Gafir.

He added that the incident had become the "central event" in the global debate concerning Israel, causing "severe damage" to the country's image, explaining that the international controversy had focused not so much on the operation against the flotilla as on Ben-Gvir's actions and the video he posted.

According to the analysis, the most prominent descriptions circulating internationally for the video were "offensive," "inhumane," and "a deliberate political provocation."

On Wednesday, Ben-Gvir posted a video showing him overseeing the abuse of activists in the "Steadfastness Flotilla," which was met with angry international reactions, including several countries summoning their Israeli ambassadors and representatives to protest, including Spain, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Belgium and Britain.

According to the flotilla organizers, the Israeli occupation army attacked all of the approximately 50 boats, carrying 428 activists from 44 countries, including 78 Turkish citizens.

Approximately 2.4 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are living in catastrophic humanitarian conditions, exacerbated by the Israeli war that left tens of thousands of martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women.
