Google introduced Gemini Intelligence on Android at The Android Show event held.
Google Vice President of Product Management Mindy Brooks said on the Google blog that the Gemini Intelligence feature will be rolled out gradually.
The feature will begin rolling out to the latest Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices this summer, and will be available across all Android devices including watches, glasses, and laptops by the end of 2026.
Gemini Intelligence can help users automate repetitive tasks that are considered boring so they can focus on more important things.
"We've spent months refining the multi-step automation capabilities on the Galaxy S26 and Pixel 10 in popular food and ride-hailing apps to ensure every interaction feels seamless," said Brooks.
Gemini can help users navigate tasks, such as finding a class syllabus in Gmail and then adding needed books to a shopping cart.
This feature can also help users make reservations for regular exercise classes, find needed items and purchase them online through the app, or search for tour packages for groups based on photos of travel service brochures.
Google emphasizes that Gemini only acts on user commands and stops when the task is complete. Users still need to provide final confirmation.
