The Indonesian national esports team won gold and silver medals in the PUBG Mobile Solo category at the 2026 SEA Esports Nations Cup (ENC) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, on Saturday.
Indonesian national esports team head coach Richard Permana praised the proactive attitude of two PUBG Mobile athletes, Alan Raynold Kumaseh and Fazriel Haikal Aditya, as the key to their success.
"These athletes are very, very proactive. Indeed, our national team culture is player-centric. We want players who are more active and proactive than their coaches ," Richard told ANTARA via text message .
Alan, who goes by the stage name "Satar," won the gold medal in the Solo event after amassing a total of 42 points across two games. Meanwhile, Fazriel "Yummy" won the silver medal with a total of 37 points.
Not only did they excel in the Solo category, Alan and Fazriel also won a bronze medal when they competed as a pair in the PUBG Mobile Duo category.
