The Indonesian Community Sports Committee launched Active Indonesia 2026 as a community sports program to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle, while also serving as an integrated guideline for all regional KORMIs and sports communities down to the community level.
KORMI Chairman Adil Hakim explained that the movement is the main framework that unites various community sports activities that have been carried out by KORMI nationally and regionally, so that they are more focused and have the same goals.
"Active Indonesia serves as an umbrella for KORMI program activities that can directly reach the lowest level of stakeholders , namely the community, and its goal is to encourage Indonesia to be active," he said at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Office in Jakarta on Wednesday.
He further explained that KORMI also launched guidelines complete with implementation instructions and technical instructions as a reference for the community sports parent community , provincial KORMI, as well as districts and cities.
