Liverpool wears new home jersey for final match of the season

Liverpool will wear their new home kit for the 2026/2027 season in their final match of the season when they host Brentford at Anfield on Sunday (May 24) at 10:00 p.m. WIB, according to the club's official website on Tuesday.

This match marked the final week of the Premier League season and also marked the farewell for Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson, two players who have played for the Reds since 2017.

Liverpool today unveiled their new home kit for next season, a design that is a modern interpretation of the classic kit worn during their 1989/1990 English top-flight title-winning campaign, complete with a green goalkeeper version.

Combining elements of the past and present, the new home kit pays homage to one of the most historic eras in the club's history, bringing back an iconic adidas design for a new generation.

The adidas kit from 1989 to 1991 is considered one of Liverpool's most iconic. It is synonymous with one of the club's greatest generations, as the Reds won their 18th league title, the most in England at the time.

The new home jersey draws inspiration from adidas' original, instantly recognizable design with its dynamic geometric pattern, blending the club's classic heritage with modern performance design.
