Technology giant Nvidia has reportedly invested in various artificial intelligence (AI) deals earlier this year, totaling US$40 billion .
As reported by Nvidia made an equity investment and strengthened its company's image as an investor focused on developing the AI ecosystem.
News of Nvidia's investment value was first reported by CNBC, which also revealed that the majority of the investment was allocated to OpenAI.
Nvidia's investment in OpenAI is valued at US$30 billion.
In addition to AI companies, Nvidia is also investing in other areas, most recently with an agreement to invest up to $3.2 billion in glass manufacturer Corning and up to $2.1 billion in data center operator IREN.
