Information about the latest generation of the OnePlus Ace line, namely the OnePlus Ace 7, is starting to emerge even though its predecessor, the OnePlus Ace 6, was only just released in October 2025.
Reported by Gizmochina on Tuesday, based on leaks from technology leaker Smart Pikachu, the OnePlus Ace 7 is predicted to use the latest generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset as the successor to the chip used on the Ace 6.
Additionally, the Ace 7 is also rumored to feature an active cooling system, a feature not available on the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra. If this information is accurate, the phone could potentially offer more stable gaming performance over long periods of use.
In terms of the display, this phone is also rumored to feature a higher refresh rate , although the exact figure hasn't been revealed. Some reports even suggest this flagship phone will feature a panel with a refresh rate of up to 240Hz.
The Ace series has long been known for delivering high performance at a relatively competitive price. With improved cooling and the possibility of faster displays, OnePlus is looking to strengthen the line's position in the high-performance smartphone segment.
However, a number of other specifications such as battery capacity, camera configuration, and the final design of the device have not yet been officially revealed.
