Russian champion Arina Kovshova achieved a double feat at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships currently being held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, by winning two medals

Russian champion Arina Kovshova achieved a double feat at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships currently being held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, by winning two medals.

Kovshova won the gold medal in ball drills and the silver medal in the hoop competition in the individual events.

In the ball competition, Kovshova scored 28.600 points, while Italian Sofia Raffaele came in second (28.000 points), and Russian Maria Borisova came in third (27.500 points).

In the hoop competition, Kovshova came in second with 28.400 points, while Ukrainian Taisiya Onufrichuk won first place (30.150 points), and Belarusian Darya Verenich came in third place (27.950 points).

The tournament concludes in Baku on Sunday, with Russian athletes participating as neutral athletes.
