Spurs crush Thunder 103-82, Western Finals tied again at 2-2

The San Antonio Spurs silenced the Oklahoma City Thunder 103-82 in Game 4 of the NBA Western Conference finals at Frost Bank Center, San Antonio, Monday WIB, to level the series at 2-2 thanks to Victor Wembanyama's dominance.

"Obviously, we don't want to be down 3-1 when we play at their home," Spurs player Devin Vassell was quoted as saying on the NBA website.

"We knew we had to respond, and this is how we responded. You get stops, don't focus on the attack, come out in transition, guard your own area."

Wembanyama delivered a brilliant performance, scoring 33 points, adding eight rebounds, five assists, and three blocks to lead the Spurs back from a Game 3 loss. De'Aaron Fox added 12 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists, while Stephon Castle and Devin Vassell each contributed 13 points.

The French basketball player admitted that he learned from the 108-123 defeat in the third game and was determined to perform better to improve the team's performance.

"We all have high standards, and I know I have a lot of responsibility, but I'm ready for it. Yes, today was better. It wasn't perfect," Wembanyama said.
