The Ministry of Communication and Digital ensures that technological infrastructure development can be optimally utilized to encourage the growth of the people's economy, one of which is by strengthening the Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperatives.
Farida Dewi Maharani, Director of the Media Ecosystem at the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, assessed that KDKMP holds a strategic position in supporting the national economy. However, of the approximately 60 million MSMEs in Indonesia, only 40 percent have entered the digital ecosystem.
"The digital transformation of MSMEs and village cooperatives cannot occur in isolation. Collective synergy is needed to enable MSMEs to advance, become more adaptive, and sustainably grow," Farida said in a statement confirmed.
Farida added that the Ministry of Communication and Digital has built extensive telecommunications infrastructure. Currently, 4G network coverage reaches 98.95 percent of Indonesia's population, while 5G services are available in 22 percent of economic centers and urban areas.
