Indonesian women's tennis player Aldila Sutjiadi and her Russian partner Vera Zvonareva won the 2026 Bad Homburg Open doubles title after winning the final in Germany on Saturday.
Aldila/Zvonareva defeated the third seeds of the WTA 500 Bad Homburg event, the Dutch-Australian pair Demi Schuurs/Ellen Perez with a score of 6-1, 4-6, 10-5.
In the first set, Aldila/Zvonareva dominated from the start. After dropping the opening game, they won six straight games, including breaking Schuurs/Perez's serve three times, to close out the set with a convincing 6-1 victory.
According to WTA statistics, Aldila/Zvonareva with their strong serve excelled by winning 75 percent of their first serves.
In the second set, Schuurs/Perez rallied and applied more pressure. The two pairs traded breaks until the score was level at 3-3.
