Arema FC releases experienced striker Dedik Setiawan

 

  Arema FC management has officially released experienced striker Dedik Setiawan after the end of the contract between the club and the player.

Arema FC General Manager Yusrinal Fitriandi in Malang City, East Java, Thursday, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for Dedik Setiawan's contribution, loyalty, and hard work for around ten years defending the club nicknamed Singo Edan .

"Dedik Setiawan is someone who grew up with Arema FC, and for nearly ten years he has dedicated his energy, mind, and heart to this club. On behalf of the management, we extend our deepest gratitude for all his sacrifices and contributions to Arema FC," said Inal, Yusrinal's nickname.

Based on information gathered from the transfermarkt page, the 31-year-old striker has worn the Arema uniform since the 2016/2017 season.

With Arema FC, this former Indonesian National Team player has made a total of 206 appearances, contributing 51 goals and 201 passes resulting in goals or assists .

This season, Dedik has only made 11 appearances and has yet to score a goal or provide an assist.

This footballer from Malang was part of the Arema FC squad that successfully won four President's Cup trophies and one Indonesian Cup.
