Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto emphasized that village heads need to get used to using data, strengthening collaboration, and encouraging innovation so that village development can be more effective and on target.
This was conveyed by Bima after opening the Village Head Enters Campus Program organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs together with the University of Indonesia at the UI Campus, Depok.
The program, which runs from June 29 to July 2, 2026, is part of the Impactful Village Government Program, which aims to strengthen the leadership, governance, and innovation capacity of village governments through learning in an academic environment.
"This activity marks a historic milestone, as the UI campus collaborates with village heads on a measurable program. This initiative is expected to generate best practices that can be published and serve as inspiration for other regions," said Bima.
