Germany vs Paraguay line-up: Nagelsmann makes two changes

The German national team made two changes to their lineup when they faced Paraguay in the round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup at Boston Stadium, United States.

Coach Julian Nagelsmann brought in Nathaniel Brown and Deniz Undav as starters to replace David Raum and Jamal Musiala.

The change came after the Panzers suffered a 2-1 defeat to Ecuador in their previous match. However, Nagelsmann retained his 4-2-3-1 formation against Paraguay.

Manuel Neuer is again entrusted with guarding the German goal. Joshua Kimmich captains the defense, alongside Antonio Rudiger, Jonathan Tah, and Nathaniel Brown.

In midfield, Aleksandar Pavlovic and Felix Nmecha provided the balance, while Florian Wirtz and Leroy Sane were tasked with supporting the attack.

Kai Havertz will be the spearhead, supported by Deniz Undav, who will have the opportunity to appear from the first minute.
