Ducati Lenovo racer Marc Marquez is targeting to be in top physical condition when he competes in the German MotoGP which will take place at the Sachsenring Circuit on July 12.
"My target is to arrive at the Sachsenring in even better physical condition so I can put on my best performance and look ahead to the mid-season break with the best possible result," said Marc Marquez, as quoted on the MotoGP.
Marc underwent the main Dutch MotoGP race which took place at the Assen Circuit on Sunday (28/6) with less than promising results.
The defending champion was only able to finish in seventh place after failing to compete for the leading position against Ai Ogura, Raul Fernandez, and Jorge Martin who respectively obtained the first, second, and third podiums.
The Spanish racer admitted that he was not satisfied with the results he achieved because he was sure he could finish in the top five.
"The best result I could have achieved was actually fifth, but I think I still finished the race on a positive note by finishing seventh," said Marc.
The seven-time world champion also failed to continue his positive streak at Assen after securing two consecutive wins in the previous two races, namely the Hungarian MotoGP and the Czech MotoGP.
