Minister of Imipas and Chairman of Commission IV taste eggs and harvest eels in Nusakambangan

 





  Minister of Immigration and Corrections  Agus Andrianto and Chairperson of Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives Siti Hediati Hariyadi or Titiek Soeharto tasted salted eggs and harvested eels cultivated by correctional inmates  on Nusakambangan Island, Cilacap, Central Java.

Agus and Titiek initially visited a workshop producing bricks from coal combustion waste, Fly Ash and Bottom Ash. There, they also inspected the official residences made from bricks made by inmates.

Moving on, Agus and Titiek inspected the chicken coops raised at the Class IIB Open Prison on Nusakambangan. In addition to harvesting the chickens' eggs, which contain omega-3 fatty acids, they also sampled the salted eggs produced by the inmates.

"It's delicious, you can mix it up," said Titiek.

Additionally, Agus and Titiek also visited an organic fertilizer processing center made from animal waste, including cow, chicken, sheep, and bat waste. This organic fertilizer is an innovation from the Batu Class I Prison on Nusakambangan Island.
