Speed climbing athlete Antasyafi Robby Al Hilmi emphasized that he does not want to be complacent after winning silver at the World Climbing Series Madrid in Spain and is instead determined to continue improving himself to compete at the world level.
He believes his achievement in Madrid was the result of his efforts to give his best performance on every track, not because he was chasing a podium target.
"Actually, I never expected to be able to climb to the podium, because all I did was climb as fast as I could, as hard as I could, and thank God I finished second," said Robby after winning a medal in the tournament on Monday.
He stated that there are still many aspects that need to be improved to face increasingly fierce competition at the international level, despite successfully contributing the only medal for the Red and White at the event, through the men's category.
Going forward, he continued, his main focus is to enjoy the sport that has long been his passion .
