RRQ Hoshi completely overhauled the team after slumping in MPL Indonesia Season 17

RRQ Hoshi is undertaking a major overhaul by opening recruitment for a number of positions, from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) players, coaches and analysts, to team managers, following poor results in MPL Indonesia Season 17.

The move came after RRQ Hoshi finished the regular season bottom of the standings with two wins and 14 losses, failing to advance to the playoffs.

"This season clearly wasn't the outcome we had hoped for. We know many are disappointed, and we feel the same way. Therefore, this rebuilding process isn't just about replacing people or rearranging the team, but also our effort to rebuild trust within Kingdom," RRQ CEO Andrian Pauline told ANTARA via text message.

He said the team rebuilding process was the first step in returning RRQ Hoshi to the competitive level that has long been associated with one of Indonesia's largest esports organizations.

"RRQ Hoshi has a great history, but history alone isn't enough. We have to work harder, be more open to improvement, and ensure everyone on the team shares the same commitment to bringing Hoshi back to where it belongs," said Mr. AP.

"This is a first step, and we want the Kingdom to know that we are serious."
