The Saudi stock market is at its lowest level in nearly three months

The Saudi stock market index fell to its lowest level in nearly three months in trading on Monday, amid tensions in the Gulf region.

By 14:05 Moscow time, the TASI market index had fallen by 0.97% to 10802.14 points, according to trading data.

The index has thus fallen below the 10,850 point level, recording its lowest level since the beginning of last April.

The decline in the Saudi stock market is mainly due to geopolitical tensions in the region, amid investors' anticipation of interest rate decisions by the US Federal Reserve.
