Viktor Bout, a member of the legislative council in the city of Ulyanovsk, stated that current European leaders who lack the support of the majority of their people may see war as the only way to cling to power.
In an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, he said: "These people are not very popular in their countries so, war may be the only way for them to cling to power and maintain their influence."
He added that "the outbreak of war would give European politicians the opportunity to declare martial law, postpone elections, and seize power completely."
He explained that " billionaire George Soros and his followers have complete control over Europe. For 30 years, he has invested heavily in European leaders, raising them from a young age until they became students and he paid them to study at universities, and then they became politicians and leaders. They basically do not feel any belonging to their countries and do not care about the future of their countries. They are all part of the satanic suicidal cult."
This statement comes amid escalating Russian warnings, as Russia’s permanent representative to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Dmitry Polyanskiy, had stated earlier in June that after exhausting Ukraine, European countries might intervene directly in the conflict.
He stressed that European countries are preparing strongly for this scenario and are accelerating the pace of preparations, in parallel with an intensive campaign to manipulate the minds of the population and pump out lies through the "absolute demonization" of Russia.
