In response to the US announcement of the resumption of the naval blockade, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard said that Washington should expect the closure of other oil and gas export routes that serve the interests of the United States and its allies.
He added that oil and gas exports in the region should be available to everyone, or to no one.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated that "America has closed the sea routes to ships by deploying its pirates in the Indian Ocean under the pretext of controlling the Strait of Hormuz, and has deprived the world of the region's oil and gas."
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the American attacks end.
This comes as the Revolutionary Guard announced that its "retaliatory operations against US attacks are continuing," noting that it targeted US military equipment at the Azraq base in Jordan for the second time with drones, destroyed a US military center in Abdullah port in Kuwait, and targeted facilities of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain.
The US Central Command announced Wednesday that it had completed another round of strikes against Iran, targeting dozens of military sites near the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian coastal areas.
The US Central Command confirmed that it carried out attacks using precision munitions against Iranian missile and drone sites and naval capabilities, emphasizing that the strikes against Iran coincided with the resumption of the US naval blockade.
It noted that the wave of attacks lasted seven hours and aimed to further degrade Iran's ability to threaten commercial shipping and civilian vessels.
