Alwi Farhan is motivated to move up a level amidst the transition in men's singles

Indonesian men's singles player Alwi Farhan is using his transition period in the men's singles sector at the PBSI National Training Center as a driving force to reach the level of elite world players.

"I don't see that as an issue. Having seniors is certainly better, but if the situation is like this, that's the consequence we have to accept," Alwi said when met at the PBSI Cipayung National Training Center.

The men's singles division of the PBSI National Training Center underwent a change in composition after Jonatan Christie and Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo left Cipayung to pursue professional careers. This situation was followed by Yohanes Saut Marcellyno Siahaan's resignation from the national training center.

This situation has made Anthony Sinisuka Ginting the most senior figure in the men's singles team at the PBSI National Training Center, while Alwi and Moh. Zaki Ubaidillah have begun to assume larger roles in the regeneration process.

Alwi said there was no need to dwell on the situation. He believes young players must adapt to the situation and maximize the opportunities they have.

"We can't just keep dwelling on this. Circumstances like this are what have allowed me to be where I am now," Alwi said.
