Asian Boxing participants arrive  for matches starting July 5

 





  Participants in the U19 and U23 Asian Boxing Championships have begun arriving in Jakarta to take part in the championships, which will begin on July 5.

"Almost 400 athletes have been accommodated in accommodations in Jakarta," Hengky Silatang, Secretary General of the Indonesian Boxing Association.

Athletes from 26 countries in Asia will take part in a technical meeting and draw to determine their opponents.

The opening and opening match of the championship will take place at the Gelora Bung Karno Basketball Hall, Senayan, Jakarta, from July 5 to July 16.

Hengky said that Perbati welcomed the enthusiasm of participants from various Asian countries to take part in the Asian Boxing Championships, which was being held for the first time in Indonesia.

"The enthusiasm of the participants is one of the greatest in the history of this championship," he said.

Regarding the preparation of the Indonesian national boxing team, Hengky said the host nation will be strengthened by 19 male and female boxers consisting of 10 U19 category athletes and nine U23 boxers.
