Indonesian national boxing team female athlete Dira Atika defeated South Korean representative Yubeen Seo to secure a semifinal spot in the 2026 Asian Boxing U19 and U23 at the Basket Hall, Senayan.
Dira, who competed in the women's featherweight class (57 kg), managed to overcome fierce resistance from Yubeen Seo in a fight led by referee Radoslav Simon from Slovakia.
Dira's dominance was reflected in the scores given by the five judges, where four judges gave her a score of 30-27 and one judge gave her a score of 29-28.
With this result, Dira follows in the footsteps of Anggie Antania Chalik who has advanced to the semifinals after defeating the Philippines representative Shairylle Pores in the women's light flyweight class (45-48 kg).
