Bagnaia successfully undergoes arm surgery

Ducati Lenovo racer Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia successfully underwent endoscopic fasciotomy surgery on his right arm.

Pecco underwent surgery in Italy and is currently recovering, aiming to be fit for the British MotoGP on August 7-9.

"The operation was performed by a medical team led by Professor Luigi Tarallo and supervised by Professor Fabio Catani at the Policlinico Orthopedic Clinic in Modena. There were no complications, as Bagnaia is now starting his recovery and rehabilitation process as scheduled," MotoGP wrote on Saturday.

Pecco has yet to find his consistency this season as he is still adapting to the Desmosedici GP-26.

The two-time world champion currently sits in eighth place in the standings as the season enters its mid-season stage.

The Italian racer is also confirmed to leave Ducati Lenovo to join Aprilia Racing for the 2027 MotoGP season.
