Gibran inspects Fatimah Az-Zahra Regional Hospital to ensure optimal service

 





  Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka visited Fatimah Az-Zahra Regional Hospital, Palembang, to ensure that the public has access to quality, equitable, and affordable health services.

During the visit, the Vice President also received a presentation from the President Director of Fatimah Az-Zahra Regional Hospital, Syamsuddin Issac Suryamanggala, regarding the superior services and development of the hospital, which is one of the referral centers in South Sumatra Province.

"We reported that two of our flagship facilities were involved: cardiovascular services, or integrated heart services. The second was orthopedic services," said Syamsuddin.

He also conveyed a number of challenges that hospitals still face, particularly regarding the need for equipment to support medical services.

According to him, the Vice President responded positively to the presentation and conveyed the government's commitment to continue supporting improvements in the quality of health services for the public.

"The Vice President has been supportive and will provide full assistance," he said.

Fatimah Az-Zahra Regional Hospital was inaugurated in 2018 and has had the status of a type A hospital since 2025.

With the support of 199 medical personnel, 524 nursing and midwifery personnel and 23 specialist clinics, the hospital is one of the main health service referral centers in South Sumatra Province and the surrounding areas.

During the review, the Vice President ensured that the government remains committed to strengthening health services in the regions by improving facilities, infrastructure, and service quality.
