The Vice President ensures that the development of the Keramasan PSEL is running according to target

 





  Vice President Gibran Rakabuming confirmed that the construction of the Keramasan Waste-to-Electricity Plant  in Palembang, South Sumatra, is proceeding according to target as part of efforts to strengthen environmental management and the use of clean energy.

According to a statement from the Vice President's Secretariat received , Vice President Gibran inspected the Keramasan PSEL in Palembang  to ensure that the construction of the strategic project was proceeding according to target.

"Going forward, our priority is to eliminate and reduce waste en masse," said Keramasan PSEL Operations Manager Satriawan Kirana when explaining to the Vice President.

He added that 1,000 tons of waste from Palembang could be processed into 17.7 megawatts of green energy. This clean electricity would then be channeled into Palembang's main grid, so the waste generated by residents would be returned to them in the form of electricity.
